Anu Prabhakar (born November 9, 1980) is an Indian film actress, who predominantly appears in Kannada films is from Mangalore.Early life
Anu Prabhakar is the daughter of M. V. Prabhakar and dubbing artist and actress Gayathri Prabhakar.She is married to Krishna Kumar, son of veteran actress Jayanthi. She studied at Nirmala Rani High School in Malleshwaram.Career
Anu Prabhakar first appeared as a child artist in the films Chapala Chennigaraya and Shanthi Kranthi. Her first film in a female-lead role was Hrudaya Hrudaya (1999), a Kannada film starring Shivarajkumar. She has also acted in two Tamil movies.
In 2009, she gave her voice to an HIV/AIDS education animated software tutorial created by the nonprofit organization .
